This particular painting amuses me in the sense that there seems to be a nymph of the woods enjoying the music performed by a pair of satirs. In fact, I'd written already some text about this subject. To me is the perfect moment for a certain chase of sex, may it be some luxurious, but a satyr is a satyr and he has to perform a good tonade before he can reach the nymph.
